JD for a Banquet Manager:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets, events, and conferences. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional service and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences
- Plan and organize event layouts, menus, and timelines
- Manage event staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service
- Oversee event setup, decoration, and audiovisual arrangements
- Manage event budgets, costs, and revenues
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
- Build relationships with clients and vendors
- Supervise and train banquet staff
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in banquet management
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field (an asset)
Note: -
Should have worked in good resorts and IHM background required.
- Ex-taj / oberoi resort candidate are preferable
- Candidates who are from our region will be preferred as their HR should be strong
Will be reporting to GM/Management
Erp and computer knowledge is must
