Position Title: Accounts Teacher

Salary - 30K to 60K

Key Responsibilities:Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive lessons on accounting principles, theories, and practices.
- Teach a variety of accounting topics including financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, auditing, cost accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Use a variety of teaching methods (e.g., lectures, discussions, case studies, practical assignments) to accommodate different learning styles.
- Create lesson plans and assignments that align with the curriculum and standards.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess student understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their work and progress.
- Track and maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Conduct regular evaluations to ensure students grasp key accounting concepts.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain an organized, disciplined, and respectful classroom environment.
- Encourage student participation, engagement, and critical thinking during class discussions.
- Address student queries and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date and relevant.
- Modify teaching approaches based on student feedback and performance data.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations, standards, and educational best practices.
Professional Development:
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay current on accounting developments.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technological tools, and accounting software.
Student Support:
- Offer additional tutoring and support for students who need help understanding accounting concepts.
- Create an open and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience (preferably in an educational institution).
- Proficiency in accounting software and other educational tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Skills and Abilities:- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and auditing.
- Ability to explain complex accounting concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with different educational technologies and teaching aids.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered teaching approach.
