As Nielsen’s Enterprise IT Business Intelligence team, our purpose is to be the bridge between Finance and Technology, developing models, reports, and analytics to support our business community. We are experts in integrating different data sources & creating impactful data models which are leveraged for dashboards & reports. Our team knows our financial system’s data structures and how to translate them into meaningful business intelligence insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead an offshore team of business intelligence analysts who also collect requirements, create FSDs, and develop models and reports
Gather reporting requirements from Business users
Translate reporting requirements into a Functional Specification Document (FSD), which outlines the fields, calculations, and objectives of the report(s) and model(s)
Test and validate the database views developed by the data warehousing team
Develop models, dimensions, hierarchies, and calculations in SAP Analytics Cloud or Power Bi
Create reports and applications in SAP Analytics Cloud or Power Bi to meet business requirements
Maintain models, dimensions, and hierarchies in SAP Analytics Cloud or Power Bi, ensuring queries run successfully and reports are functioning correctly
Drive progress against timelines, and manage capacity while reporting to executive stakeholders and business sponsors
QUALIFICATIONS
5+Experience building dashboards with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power Bi
Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA data structures, tables, and fields
Proficient in query languages such as SQL and M (Power Bi)
Proficient in Java script and building custom widgets using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
