Repair Shop Engineer

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; adjusts, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions Ensuring all of the spare parts are complying as per Alcon quality standards before those are taken into inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality service to internal customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding organizational Values at all times
• Doing incoming inspection of all the spare parts before taking to respective inventory.
• Report any quality concern to LFTC.
• Help finding resolution to quality concerns.
• Minimize repaired module failure.
• Responsible for managing the calibration of repair shop tools.
• Provide Customer’s satisfaction at all times.
• Complete CRM reporting as per the guideline in a timely manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned, such as lead or assist in special projects, etc.
• Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative.
• Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs

Key Performance Indicators

• General Electro-Mechanical Assembly skills as required by Repair Shop
•  Ability to utilize required computer applications and related equipment
• Ability to meet established productivity expectations (relative to peers, time standards, etc.)
