Remote Service Engineer
Your role:
Owns the operational responsibility of deploying Unix based applications.
Responsible for troubleshooting and providing support to field deployment teams.
Deliver on S.L.A. to both internal and external customers.
Expertise in scripting for component/ module/ sub-system
Must have good analytical and debugging skills.
Handles team deliverables and making sure deliverables are delivered on time with high-quality
Manages technical communication with customers and stakeholders
Responsible for providing metrics-based Operations updates to the management
Work with the Development team pro-actively in identifying improvement areas and prioritization of bug fixes
You're the right fit if:
Strong system engineering & administration experience on UNIX or LINUX platform is a must.
Strong Expertise with Shell scripting.
Expertise with SSH, SSH tunneling and networking on UNIX based platform.
Preferable Experience in infrastructure & application monitoring tools such as Nagios & Shinken
Working knowledge of Ansible is key.
Exposure in working with SCM tools like Jenkins and GIT / SVN
Knowledge of Python would be an added advantage.
Flexible to work stretch hours, take customer calls and meetings during IST Evening Hours
Ability to work without close supervision and with proactive, goal-oriented attitude

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
