The Global IBP Release Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the release planning strategy, market rollout timing, risk management, quality assurance, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. The role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the rollout of the IBP solution across multiple markets. The role involves creating and maintaining release strategies, ensuring smooth deployment of the solution, and aligning releases with global and local objectives. The release manager is a central point of contact between global product teams, and regional stakeholders. The role will manage timelines, risks, and ensure that each markets requirements are met to minimize risk. The role will focus on delivering high quality releases while driving alignment and consistency across the deployments. Responsibilities Develop a global release strategy for the IBP solution considering market specific requirements and timelines Coordinate release plans with multiple stakeholders, including market leaders, product owners, and development teams. Ensure alignment of release plans with overall business objectives and priorities Oversee market specific configuration, testing, and data migration activities to ensure release meets market requirements Collaborate with local teams to identify market specific risks, dependencies, and change management needs Identify potential risks and challenges related to release management across regions and markets Act as a point of escalation for issues or blockers that could impact release timeline or quality Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action for any issues encountered during market rollout Establish standards, testing protocols for releases. Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to validate the IBP solution functions as expected Stay up to date on the best practices for release management and integrate relevant methodologies into the process. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other related. Minimum of 7 years experience in release management, product management, or program management ideally with a focus on supply chain or IBP solutions Proven track record of managing large scale software releases across multiple regions or markets Experience in agile methodologies, including work with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or simiar framework Familiarity with IBP solutions like SAP IBP, Oracle IBP, O9 Solutions, or Other planning system Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines Proficiency in tools for project management, release tracking, and collaboration (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps) Differentiating Competencies Required - Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized Ability to work cross functionally with product, service design and operations across the organization Strong interpersonal skills, ability to navigate through a complex and matrixed internal environment Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units Ability to navigate a complex organization and to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level At PepsiCo, we recognize that our success is driven by our talented and dedicated employees.
