Role Title Release Engineer -DevOps
Role Purpose software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support automation framework developed for our partners
You will be part of a highly effective team working with solution architects and developers on interpretation and creative designs for functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design for automation framework.

Technical / job functional knowledge:
Responsible for CRM, Engineering’s dev ops framework adhering to standard processes in development principles and supports the regulatory landscape in which our end users operate by implementing appropriate governance and security controls.
Role impacts all divisional users of CRM, Engineering and downstream systems reliant on Customer Data – 7k users across Capital Markets, Post Trade and Data & Analytics. The role’s data and integrations expertise underpins multi-year/ multi-£M business transformation programmes.
Business and sector expertise:
Extensive experience on Cloud platforms like AWS e.g. EC2, VPC, CloudFront, WAF, ALB, Route53, S3, Lambda..
Experience in crafting road maps and toolkits to standardise interpret and build designs for functional requirements for automation framework.
Ability to build adaptable DevOps pipelines on AWS.
Understanding of middleware and integration tools and when it may be appropriate to use them.
Knowledge on building Agile and DevOps eg. JIRA, ASANA, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Git, Gitlab runner, SonarQube.
•Expertise and/or understanding in the following languages and technologies: Java (java spring boot), Microservices, JavaScript, services-based architecture, ReactJS, REST.
•Proficient in one or more scripting languages like bash, python or more.
•Proficient with Testing frameworks e.g. Junit, TestNG.
•Knowledge of SSO understanding e.g. SAML, OAuth2.
•Experience of developing and influencing strategic working relationships with key technology suppliers.
Minimum 3 years of significant experience in DevOps.
•Experience on Salesforce and other relevant CRM systems is desirable.

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• NPM, NodeJS, Containerizations, Apache.
• Elasticsearch.
• Expertise and understanding of end-to-end DevOps tools and processes.
• Digital and Marketing Technologies.
• Experience in financial domain.
• Experience integrating 3rd party source code and/or libraries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically.
• Adept at learning new technologies quickly.

Education and Professional Skills
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Software Engineering or STEM degree (Desirable)
