Job Description

Job Description: Sales Manager – Life Insurance
Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 6 months of experience in life insurance, sales management, retail banking distribution, co-operative banks, channel management, or DSA relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and a regional language (mandatory) and demonstrate a proven ability to achieve sales targets while managing and nurturing channel partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Achievement of Premiums and Policies:


    • Meet and exceed premium and policy number targets consistently.
    • Ensure minimum 70% activation of the assigned Channel Partners.
  2. Channel Partner Management:


    • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, ensuring retention and sustained business growth.
    • Provide support and training to channel partners for effective sales execution.
  3. Sales Strategy and Execution:


    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve designated partner targets.
    • Analyze training needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance partner performance.
  4. Relationship Building:


    • Establish and strengthen relationships with retail banks, co-operative banks, DSA networks, and other channel partners.
    • Regularly engage with partners to address concerns, motivate performance, and foster loyalty.
  5. Sales Planning and Monitoring:


    • Conduct regular planning to ensure smooth sales operations and achievement of business goals.
    • Monitor partner performance and provide timely feedback and actionable insights.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum 6 months in life insurance sales, retail banking, channel management, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and a regional language is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on training and performance management.
