As a Regulatory Reporting Testing Analyst in our Consumer & Community Banking team, you will have the opportunity to define, refine and deliver set goals for our firm each day. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the function of testing the quality of our data. You will be responsible for understanding requests, reviewing functional specs to determine data extraction points, and working with our testing partners to align front end systems. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and business knowledge will be put to good use in this role. You will handle multiple projects simultaneously, and your strong communication skills will be essential when explaining business results and variances to all levels of management.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop test documentation to include: Test plans, Test schedules and Test cases/scripts
  • Write high- and low-level testing scripts. Organizations testing efforts to evidence tests performed and outcome achieved
  • Review project documents to understand requirements, data, and desired outcome. Coordinate with LOB testing team for scripts and priority
  • Execute the process to extract data from front end systems. Analysis of results to determine if data is correct as reported
  • Summarize and report findings to project teams. Escalate potential areas of inconsistent data
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and participate in Go/No Go decisions. Regularly report status to Controls/UAT Manager for consolidated status reporting
  • Identify and promote the leveraging of successful services and processes from across the firm 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Graduate with emphasis in MIS, Computer Science, Math, or other hard science with minimum 4 years of experience with planning and coordinating test activities, overseeing test case development and defect resolution.
  • Advance knowledge of testing/application development workflow tools HP Quality Center/ALM
  • Data profiling tool experience, Experience working in manual & automated testing.
  • Working knowledge in writing complex SQL queries joining multiple tables. Working knowledge of Excel, specifically excel formulas, data sets within Excel, pivots table.
  • Experience with Jira/Agile Central. Maintains basic knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Visualization best practices.
  • Experience in working with large datasets, derive insights and present information through visualization and reports. Ability to present effectively to both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organization. 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Python is a plus.
  • Mortgage Banking experience would be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of key SDLC best practices, experience with sampling and testing methodologies, and UAT defect tracking and resolution are key pluses.
