Job Description

Join our dynamic operating environment, reviewing changing regulations and ensuring JPM is compliant with the regulation as well as having the proper controls in place. The team is responsible for monitoring these controls and ensuring a quick resolution to any issues.


As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst in the Rates Regulatory team, you will be working in a dynamic operating environment, reviewing changing regulations and ensuring compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring controls, resolving issues promptly, and partnering closely with various teams such as Business, Business Management, Projects, Technology, Legal, and Compliance. This role provides an opportunity to understand OTC derivative instruments and market dynamics, particularly Rates as an asset class, and to develop and implement an appropriate control framework. You will also be involved in production planning and workload balancing on a daily basis, and running end-to-end UAT testing of key tech deliveries.
 


Job Responsibilities:


  • Independently manage key deliveries/projects
  • Proven track record in partnering with Technology, Legal and Compliance to implement change and drive operations agenda. 
  • Understand OTC derivative instruments and market dynamics preferably to include Rates as an asset class. 
  • Understand transaction lifecycles, systems and controls and the functions responsible for execution of those controls.
  • Understand Regulatory requirements and reporting is desirable
  • Develop and implement an appropriate control framework and production of MIS and Key Performance Indicators including trend analysis
  • Plan production planning and workload balancing on a day-to-day basis
  • Run end-to-end UAT testing of key tech deliveries

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:


  • Quick learner with ability to manage and/or play a key role in managing the process and production on a day-to-day basis
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade support/Regulatory functions (booking trades, trade verification and reconciliations
  • Numerical aptitude with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
