POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Treasury Manager will oversee the treasury operations within the region, ensuring efficient management of cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and collaboration with various departments to optimize the company’s financial performance. This role is part of the Global Treasury & Tax (TnT) team in Hyva and within Treasury responsible for arranging adequate funds for Hyva’s business activities in the region, investments and projects and in addition also managing risk in terms of interest rate, currency, liquidity and maturity risks. Regional Treasury Manager will report to the Global Tax and Treasurer and be responsible for regional cash and working capital management, cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange risk management, treasury accounting, trade financing, bank administration and rationalization, general and credit insurance matters, and Intercompany transactions. This role will have key focus on accurate and timely submission of cash flow reports to help manage cash and liquidity planning. Ensuring best use of Treasury Management System (TMS) to reduce finance cost and improve efficiency of Group’s cash management. Ensure compliance to the Treasury delegation of authority (DOA) and Treasury policies, globally, by coordinating and working with local team.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Borrowing, liquidity and cash management
- This role has primary focus on the local borrowings, cash management and liquidity management of the Hyva entities in the region.
- Set up new banking relationships, plan local/regional borrowing facilities, optimize the cash management in the region. Timely payment of interest repayment of loans, on maturity.
- Set up regional cash pooling system if required/permissible in the regional. Link local/regional cash pool with group cash pooling system in the Netherlands.
- Improve local/regional working capital investment by factoring/invoice discounting/supply chain financing facilities and improve local/regional liquidity/interest cost.
- Explore and connect with new banking partners to improve liquidity.
Banking
- Overseeing and maintaining bank relationships in the region, annual reviews, manage the opening, closing and maintenance activities of bank accounts and signature levels, administration of banking portals/users.
- Assist Hyva team with the periodical KYC refreshes and AML compliance of the banking partners.
- Work with business controllers and accounting services team to ensure compliance to internal treasury policy for bank account management.
- Identify redundant accounts and opportunities for automation and consolidation, drive and coordinate actions to minimize the cash held on local banks, rationalizing the existing bank accounts and bank relationship structure.
- Reduce bank fees by continuous review of banking products and take necessary actions.
- Issuance of financial instruments like bank guarantees, letter of credit, bank drafts etc. to support local business activities.
Cash flow and liquidity management
- Coordinate the cash repatriation initiatives locally/regionally, liaising with the stakeholders, including transfer of dividend, intercompany loans, management fee, royalty etc.
- Responsible for cash flow forecast of the local entity in Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS), ensure connections with ERP to reduce manual efforts in preparation of short-term cash flow forecast
- Place surplus funds to investment account, following Group Treasury policy.
- Work with local banks/central bank to include local Hyva entities to global intercompany netting program.
Forecasting
- Consolidate, compile and analyse cash flow requirements. This includes working with accounting services and business control teams to prepare cash flow forecast for medium and long term using forecasts like budget, SBP etc.
- Communicate and partner with subsidiaries, business control and other stakeholders to better understand activities of their business area to drive improvement in forecast accuracy and timing
Foreign Exposure
- Assist in preparation, consolidation, and analysis of routine monthly local balance sheet exposures. Coordinate with accounting services team to analyze monthly FX results and present to Global Tax and Treasurer and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with other teams and departments to understand and resolve variances and operational issues.
- Assist in optimization of the Balance sheet hedging program.
Reporting
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key balance sheet account positions including cash levels and inter-company balances; support the analysis and execution of approved intercompany movements and netting activities and other treasury related reports
- Provide strategic reporting and analysis to Global Tax and Treasurer and support global Treasury initiatives
Insurances
- Management of local general insurance program, including data collections for insurance renewal, working with local insurance partners in administration of insurance policies.
- Explore and set up credit insurance programs as required for protecting the group from the risk of bad debts or as required for invoice factoring program. Administration of credit insurance program.
Other Activities
- Review and approval of supplier’ banking details changes globally and maintain related data, reports and KPIs
- Reporting to the group treasury on regular/adhoc basis, including monthly credit facility template, foreign exchange exposure data etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, chartered accountant (CPA/CA) or relevant certifications (CTP, CFA, ACT) preferred.
- Professional Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in treasury management with focus on regional or international treasury operations.
- Strong knowledge of cash management practices, investment strategies, and financial risk management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement treasury policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- Proficient in treasury management systems and financial modelling software. Kyriba experience is preferred.
- Language requirements: English is required. German and/or Franch preferred for EMEA candidate.
- Leadership Level: Individual Contributor/People manager
