Regional Sourcing Manager

Purpose of the Job:

The Regional Sourcing Manager is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the defined Global Supply Chain strategies, plans and vision, across a particular region and corresponding Rotork sites. He/she builds strong relationships with site & Group level operations, Supply Chain management and external suppliers. The position is a leader focused on ensuring local site Sourcing capability provision is in place to support both local and global Category Management strategy, delivering cost improvement, managing risk and providing continuous improvement in Supplier Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Ensure that global Strategic Sourcing processes are applied across sites in the region.
• Manage key leaders across Supply Chain functional areas to ensure effective execution and compliance to the Global Supply Chain strategy.
• Ensure that strategic sourcing projects are effectively scoped, planned and managed to align to the regional and global targets and objectives.
• Guide and support site Procurement and Materials Management teams.
• Support and coordinate Global Sourcing opportunities to Rotork, aligned with the Category Management global strategy.
• Regional coordination and support to Supplier Quality & Development team, aligned with the Global Supplier Quality team.
• Ensure Sourcing Strategy is done in consideration of Rotork Inventory Optimiser (RIO) guideline.
• Lead regional activities related to site level savings reporting and reviewing.
• Ensure implementation plan is delivering the defined key Supply Chain KPIs at local sites.
• Update global and regional leadership regarding Sourcing and tactical procurement plans, requesting support and escalation when required.
• Develop a local Supply Base that supports global Rotork needs in terms of capacity and capability.
• Ensure Supply Chain input is provided into the risk management process managed by the Global Supply Chain team.
• Ensure the necessary price list and/or trade agreements are in place with active local suppliers
• Support the implementation of Long-Term Agreements negotiated in conjunction with the Category Management team.
• Support Cost Engineering strategy (Design-to-Cost/Manufacturing, Should Cost)

• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
• 10+ years of Supply Chain experience in similar industry (Valve manufacturing, oil& gas)
• Previous team management experience
• Global Sourcing and tactical Purchasing experience
• Advance knowledge of full Microsoft suite
• Experience with a global matrix organizational structure
• Experience with manufacturing environment
