WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a Regional Mobility Specialist, you will be core to the Global Mobility team which supports colleagues who pursue immersive, short- and long-term global experiences which allow us to better serve our clients, develop our people, and build a stronger firm.
The team works closely with firm leaders to define its strategic mobility priorities and effectively use mobility to align talent with client opportunities, support firm building initiatives, and enable professional growth.
Global Mobility collaborates with a broad range of mobility stakeholders across geographies and practices, Professional Development and Talent, and firm functional areas (e.g., Tax, Benefits, Compensation, Immigration).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will manage the end-to-end relocation process for partners and senior partners moving to Asia Pacific, enabling a seamless transition and local integration. Integral to this process will be advising partners on the mobility ‘critical path’ and orchestrating support across the full mobility ecosystem (e.g., external vendors, local office administrators, internal support functions).
Your day-to-day collaboration on specific partner moves will build a broad network of colleagues (e.g., local HR/Finance/Mobility, Immigration, Partner/Transferee Tax, Benefits, Partner Compensation, Global Partnership Office, Payroll, MIO) and involve focused cross-team problem solving to address notable mobility themes.
Across the Asia Pacific region, you will provide support and thought leadership for Mobility, Immigration & Eligibility (MIE) colleagues to sharpen their expertise, expand their customer service toolkit, and navigate/resolve complex mobility issues. This includes sharing global best practices to enable strong local mobility processes and achieve timely, effective mobility outcomes. Additionally, as new office/location/service centers are set-up in your respective regions you will lead the mobility workstream (e.g., establishing initial vendors, providing mobility guidance) while partnering closely with immigration, tax, and legal teams.
This role also has broad firm-level impact by shaping mobility policy across all our people paths (Client/Engagement/Firm Service paths) by sharing insights from historical and active moves, identifies compliance risks and exception trends, and benchmarks industry (best) practices.
Externally, you will foster strong vendor relationships to deliver high-quality services and support provided under mobility policies. This includes frequently assessing regional/local vendor performance (through individual Partner feedback, mobility surveys), providing direct feedback to achieve continuous improvement, and helping to identify new vendors as needed.
