Job Description
  • Collaborate with Marketing team and Regional Market Leadership to develop and execute targeted, defined and measurable regional marketing plans
  • Create regional content including customer testimonials and case studies that support the regional marketing plan
  • Ensure local compliance with brand guidelines; Train regions and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment. Improve customer experience – with local brand touchpoints
  • Support APAC Agents and Distributors with Channel Marketing support and resources
  • With Marcomms and Digital teams, support regional sales and Global Business Developers/Global Account Managers with Account Based Marketing
  • Support approved regional trade shows and other customer events ensuring alignment with Global Marketing
  • Support Product Managers and Portfolio Directors with communications regional growth priorities, sales targets and training collateral to the sales force.
  • Consolidate feedback from regions; Make recommendations regarding product performance, pricing, financing, sales, demand generation and distribution
  • Participate in ad hoc requests for various initiatives, including new product launches etc.


Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • In this position you will customize, develop, and execute Smiths Group marketing strategy for APAC and provide regional market insights back to Global Marketing. In this position you will be part of the global marketing team and have a direct reporting line to the Regional Marketing Manager.
  • You will act as first point of contact for any marketing-related questions from APAC regional sales team, providing marketing leadership for regional markets, including demand generation programs, new product launches and vertical marketing, to drive market share growth.
  • You will be required to work across Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing and Sales Enablement functions to ensure both top-down initiatives are deployed and that regional requirements resonate with global decision-makers.
  • Collaboration examples may include: (a) Support the Global Marcom team as needed on communication plans, inbound and outbound tactics, and localized content for global initiatives (b) Work with Vertical Business Directors to identify gaps in the Smiths group portfolio in each regional market (c ) Work with Marcom and Product Marketing to develop required white papers, case studies and sales tools
  • You will partner closely with regional Sales leadership to deploy regional marketing plans and provide market intelligence from the regional perspective back to Global Marketing. You will drive global programs into the assigned region; coordinate deployment from multiple functions within Marketing (such as strategy, product marketing, pricing, marketing communications, vertical and account business development).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with ability to plan over 3-year time span
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to implement aggressively and influence without direct authority
  • Bachelor's degree, engineering preferred or business/marketing
  • Min 3 years’ experience as a Marketing Generalist.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing marketing plans, preferably in an industrial B2B environment.
