Regional Manager Public Business Solutions – East
As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for developing and crafting sales strategies to drive growth and improve revenue from public health reimbursement channels. You will have a deep understanding of public health policies, reimbursement mechanisms, and the ability to engage effectively with healthcare providers, payers, and other key stakeholders. You will report to National Manager – PBS.
You will be based in Kolkata and cover entire East India.
Your opportunity
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the public health reimbursed business segment
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public health sector, including government programs, public health organizations, RACE accounts and other relevant entities
Identify potential tender opportunities through market analysis and monitoring of tender platforms and announcements
Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tender documents, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines
Track and manage the entire tender lifecycle, from identification and submission to negotiation and award
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, public health officials, and policy makers - travel as required to meet with them and attend industry events
Provide insights and feedback and collaborate with cross-functional relevant internal teams on reimbursement challenges and opportunities to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives
Stay informed about public health reimbursement policies, guidelines, and changes that impact the business
Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to track progress and ensure achievement of sales goals
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field; advanced degree in business preferred
7-10 years of sales experience in the IVD space / medical device industry, with a focus on public health and reimbursed business
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a complex and competitive market
Strong understanding of public health reimbursement mechanisms, policies, and stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong interpersonal skills, solution-focused and strong collaborative mindset
Ability to handle ambiguity and to manage organizational complexity
Ability to take decisions in a fast paced environment and under ambiguity
