Regional Express Manager will develop corporate initiatives by structuring annual express / courier operating plans, supporting the development of business plans for a defined region. You will collaborate with the global team to drive the development of commercial sales, operational and marketing initiatives to promote express courier products and services to achieve regional targets. You will also be responsible in providing objective analytical input and advise corrective measure to support the formulation of of long and short term strategies to achieve target KPIs and drive business development in the region. In collaboration with the appointed GSA's and operational partners drive the development of commercial sales and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders at headquarters to develop an annual express/courier revenue plan targeting each country/region based on market trends.
- Ensure revenue plans generate optimal returns for each location through an optimal set of destination and product mix.
- Drive commercial and operational partnerships to promote sales in new markets and establish a market-leading sales approach.
- Evaluate performance against revenue and operational/service performance plans at each location.
- Support the global team in recommending corrective actions on their business plans and developing new business.
- Participate in identifying and conducting financial evaluations of new GSSA/CSSA for new markets.
- Interact with customers, trade delegations, and the Product Development team to develop new initiatives.
- Support the development of a comprehensive marketing plan for the region and recommend specific promotional and advertising materials in collaboration with Corporate Communications.
- Drive a comprehensive project plan for new station start-ups in the region.
- Provide support and direction to operations managers, including service performance support, analytical work, regional training needs plans, and guidance on expenditure budget guidelines.
