As a Reconciliation Manager-Treasury Operations at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring that the operations and settlement of business activities is carried out on a daily basis in line with JPMC and line of business policies and procedures. Individual members of the team are required to have a firm understanding of the products and information flows of the various systems, the reconciliation and substantiation tools and auditing standards. They should be analytical and have strong communication skills to coordinate the resolution of the transaction posting errors, breaks and reconciling items across various teams in the firm. The team must coordinate and collaborate extensively with finance, product owners, JPMC Ops teams and technology functions to fulfil their responsibilities.


The Treasury Operations team will also manage suspense accounts and clear the transactions in each of the Suspense accounts in line with JPMC accounting policies and standards. The team will discharge this responsibility by liaising with the banking operation teams and obtaining sufficient information on the cases to ensure that appropriate determinations are made. Necessary payments outside the firm will also be completed by the Treasury Operations Team on a very secure level with the highest standards.  


Job responsibilities:


  • Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations/tasks related to a functional area or business partner
  • Ensures projects are completed according to established timelines
  • Participates in cross-functional teams as an SME from MIS
  • Duties may include, but are not limited to assembling data, building reports/dashboards, and providing input on out of the box solutions for our business partners.
  • Identifies risks and opportunities along with potential solutions in order to unlock value.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • 5+ years of professional experience in a combination of business + relevant MIS/ technology/ reporting experience
  • Some level of business operations & procedures along with the ability to tie into business fundamentals
  • Must have first-hand experience & knowledge of querying different databases & other source systems for data analysis required for reporting
  • Must have first-hand experience & knowledge of creating reports/ business intelligence solutions using tools like (but not limited to) Tableau, Cognos, Python, Alteryx, SAS etc.
  • Ability to write/understand SQL (PL/SQL, T/SQL, PostgreSQL or similar) and Data Analysis experience
  • General desire and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies 
  • Anticipates and resolves both customer and general issues with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Prior experience in reporting and data analysis development with ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Excellent Business Analysis skills to drill down the complex Reporting requirements for multiple work streams. Excellent problem solving skills in order to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues 
  • Automation role familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Alteryx, Tableau, Signavio
