Job Summary
The department is responsible for the capture, analysis and notification to clients of event information and deadlines, reconciliation and execution of client instructions to the market and reconciliation and posting of clients' cash and stock entitlements for Trades.
Job Responsibilities
Manage workflow and oversee reconciliation and investigation of trades breaking on reconciliation (FA vs. Custody).
Ensure completion and sign-off of daily controls and processing, including client service inquiry resolution, cash and stock break management, and event management.
Produce all key metrics within required timelines and escalate issues related to the Trades Team to Operational and Risk leads.
Continuously review and update Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and risk management activities.
Assist managers with daily governance and supervisory control implementation, and contribute to the strategic development of multiple products in the Trades sector.
Promote a culture of early escalation, conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents, manage risk items, and ensure compliance with key controls.
Organize morning risk review meetings, oversee intraday and end-of-day sign-offs, handle client queries within SLAs, and collaborate with Product Development, Settlements, FX, and Risk teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
B Com/CA/MBA with 3 -6 years of experience in asset servicing or investment domain.
