React Native Developer

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Implement secure coding practices, ensuring data protection and secure authentication mechanisms are integrated throughout the application.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to integrate APIs and create intuitive user interfaces that meet user needs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to enhance application performance and reliability.
• Ensure that all mobile applications comply with banking industry regulations and standards, prioritizing security and data integrity.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in React Native development, mobile application security, and industry best practices.

Software Requirements:

• Proficient in React Native and mobile application development principles.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, along with mobile app architecture.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and mobile app security principles.

Technical Skills (Category-wise):

Mobile Development:

• React Native framework
• JavaScript and TypeScript programming
• Cross-platform mobile application architecture

Security & Compliance:

• Secure API integration
• Data encryption and protection principles
• Knowledge of banking industry regulations and standards

Performance Optimization:

• Debugging tools and techniques
• Performance analysis and optimization strategies

Development Tools:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)

Experience:

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development specifically using React Native.
• Proven track record in developing secure, high-performance mobile applications.
• Exposure to mobile applications within the financial or regulated industry is a significant advantage.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints to gather requirements and deliver mobile application features.
• Design and implement new application features and enhancements based on user feedback and business requirements.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Conduct regular performance profiling and debugging to ensure optimal application functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest React Native features and security practices, incorporating them into ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5+ years of experience in mobile application development with a focus on React Native.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, security principles, and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of native iOS/Android development for bridging functionalities when required.
• Experience with integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello for project management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
