Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive radio engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll contribute to the delivery of N&T Sub-System Radio specifications and architecture that align with our System Delivery Plan. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), develop and refine Radio Design requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the study of country-specific spectrum standards/regulations, as well as the elaboration of N&T Radio Bill of Quantity (BoQ), but also participate in Radio deployment activities such as surveys and tests.
We’ll look to you for:
Elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture
Developing Radio Design requirements with a focus on spectrum management and Cybersecurity
Ensuring adherence to Quality processes and project milestones
Minimizing N&T Radio deployment costs, lead time, and risks
Executing Radio Interference, trackside, Train surveys, and Coupling tests
Supporting functional validation and Installation & T&C activities
Providing feedback and Return of Experience (REX) to engineering teams
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Degree in Engineering (BE/Master’s) with 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience or understanding of radio deployments in industrial environments
Knowledge of WiFi protocols and radio propagation
Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzer, IP analyzer)
A certification in networking or radio communication (desirable).
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Capacity for technical coordination and teamwork
