Job Purpose

- Preparation of End-to-End Financial Statements of Legal Entity
- Support in an accurate and timely way the monthly, quarterly, hard-close and year-end-financial closing for the entities in the region
- Maintain and share with the entities the set-up of the financial reporting – and general ledger structure for both IFRS/IndAS and statutory reporting
- Support Statutory Audits, Tax audits (Direct/Indirect) and filing compliances
- Active interaction with other RAC analysts, BU Accounting Manager(s) and GBS about accounting subjects, transaction processing and performance
- Support BU accounting manager in adhoc specific BU activities
Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for End-to-End Financial Statements of Multiple Legal Entities and supporting the RAC for finalization of Financial Statements
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, hard-close and year-end-financial closing for the entity or entities in the region, in an accurate and timely way, (including Financial Reporting, Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Inter Company Accounting, Treasury Accounting, Period Close Activities, Statutory and Tax Reporting)
- Support consolidation of legal entity statements and local statutory reporting in the region
- Advise on operational complex and judgement based general accounting (e.g. complex (non-rule based) accruals) and recurring month-end activities
- Monitor IFRS/IndAS and other compliance with policies and treatments
- Focus on Balance Sheet and P&L for (group of) LEs (company codes), execute high level review and answer specific expertise questions during month/period and month-end/period closing
- Review and potentially adjust reports (A-Forms) in HFM
- Support Statutory Audits, Tax audits (Direct/Indirect) and filing compliances
- Drive that changes in policies with reference to IFRS/IndAS are reflected and embedded (e.g. training / SOP / policy / communications) in the processes
- Comply with rules and regulations set by global accounting team
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes and controls and drive continuous improvement
Experience
-
- Accounting professional with preferably 8-10 years of experience in accounting and reporting, and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues (3rd or 4th accounting job)
- Experience in handling Listed Indian Entity and also worked in Shared Services Setup
- CA Qualified or Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Subject matter expert in multiple areas of R2R
- Expert knowledge in financial accounting (IFRS/IndAS, accounting processes)
- Expert Knowledge and understanding of Financial / ERP systems, SAP/MFGPRO and consolidation systems like HFM
- Good knowledge on the Direct and Indirect tax, GST, tax filings/assessments, reporting to the tax authorities etc
- Able to plan, coordinate and assign IFRS/IndAS work to analysts (in accordance with operations team lead)
- Result orientated with a focus on service delivery
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Autonomous in organizing responsibilities and work
