About the Role:


This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for leading the development and execution of automation testing solutions. This position works with management to apply automation strategy coupled with programming skills to plan and execute effective and efficient automation testing to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and/or data.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.


  • Execute test cases manually and/or through automated testing tools to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.


  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.


  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.


  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design reviews, and release planning.


  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.


  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to software testing.


  • Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction.


  • Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.


  • Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of proven experience in software manual testing.


  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.


  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.


  • Work experience in SQL Server, Web API and Postman.


  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.


  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
