Job Description
We are looking for a diligent and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality investigations, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining the highest quality across production processes. Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Investigations and Compliance
- Product Investigations: Initiate and escalate product quality investigations as necessary.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with ISO standards and support internal audit programs, quality investigations, and product performance reviews.
2. Communication and Coordination
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding quality issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other site supervisors and departments to address quality concerns.
3. Production Line and Material Inspection
- Production Readiness: Check that production lines are ready and meet customer requirements before production begins.
- Material Inspection: Inspect inward materials purchased, such as paint and thinner, to ensure they meet quality standards.
4. Customer and Dispatch Support
- Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints promptly and liaise with the Head of Department (HOD) as needed to resolve issues.
5. Final Product Inspection
- Quality Analysis: Analyze finished products and dispatch lines to ensure quality before shipment to customers.
6. Quality Control Records and Specifications
- Record Keeping: Maintain complete and accurate quality control (QC) records for all inspections and investigations.
- Specifications Review: Devise and review product or process specifications to ensure they meet required standards.
7. Inspection and Testing Oversight
- Oversight: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Support: Provide support and guidance to Receiving Inspectors, Final Inspectors, and In-Process Inspectors.
8. Feedback and Scheduling
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on material, part, and product specifications based on inspection results.
- Scheduling: Ensure timely scheduling of raw material inspections, product inspections, auditing, and data collection.
9. Quality Investigation Authority
- Initiation: Authority to initiate and escalate quality investigations when necessary.
- Compliance Enforcement: Authority to enforce quality control procedures and ensure compliance with established standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
