Job Description
- Managing overall performance of the quality department.
- Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for a company. Ensure that the quality control Plan and conduct internal quality audits. Establish and implement the Inspection and Test Plan.
- Ensure the availability of required tools, including calibrated measuring equipment Take appropriate corrective actions on identified problems.
- Identify potential sources of error and suggest ways to eliminate them. (Preventive Actions)
- Periodic evaluations of suppliers' performances
- Support the supplier performance improvement process
- Responding to client complaints related to the product quality, conducting the root cause analysis and taking necessary corrective actions.
- keep track of quality training attended by staff. Developing and implementing quality control tests. Inspecting products at various stages.
- Working with engineering team to ensure final products meet customer needs and requirements.
- Creating, supervising, and maintaining Quality Management policies and procedures. Leading workplace safety through prevention, instruction, and random inspection. Collaborate with a purchasing / vendor manager to ensure raw materials / parts from external suppliers meet quality requirements.
- Proffer recommendations to company management on ways to improve on existing quality processes.
- Collect, compile and analyses relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance.
- Supervise / guide technicians, inspectors, and other company staff to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures.
- Monitor product development processes to identify deviations from quality policies. Conduct tests to verify the quality of raw materials and finished products.
- Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvement or upgrade.
- Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
- Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures, and standards. Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team. The candidate should have experience in fabrication.
- Strong knowledge and experience in material inspection. Familiarity with ISO documentation and standards.
- In-depth knowledge of welding processes. Proficiency in cross-checking procedures.
- Experience with conveyor parts, including quality inspection. Team Handling.
