Job Description
  • Inspection of incoming components received from suppliers
  • Preparing/maintaining Rotork inspection reports/quality documents after checking the components based on drawings and specification.
  • Hydro pressure testing of castings as per Rotork standards.
  • Disposing the GRN’s (Good received Note) in EPR for further processing
  • Preparation of Quality Plan and storing it in ERP for new components and updating Quality plans for regular components.
  • Preparing nonconformance reports for Quality deviation if any and sending to suppliers for corrective action
  • Maintaining instruments and gauges with calibration for checking the components.
  • Developing new gauges for checking at incoming quality in consultation with SQE.
  • Attending suppliers meeting to explain the issues.
  • Supporting SQE’s for inspection and compiling PPAP documents of new development component.
  • Addressing assembly complaints due to components.
    Expertise/ Experience
  • Hands on experience in using measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Basic knowledge in Electrical and Electronics commodity.
  • Good Knowledge in reading and understanding drawings.
  • Good Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools and ERP based Programs.
  • Having Good temperament skills to handle suppliers.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience
