Role Description: The Quality Engineer II Analyst is a member of the Agile Team responsible for testing software developed for the LSEG T1 product suite. LSEG T1 is a solution for North American Wealth advisors with over 100,000 installations at some of the largest Wealth Advisors in the United States and Canada. As a Quality Engineer II Analyst you will apply business requirements and knowledge of software testing lifecycles to guide the testing of sophisticated software products or customer solutions. The Quality Engineer II Analyst chips in through their technical expertise and talent development. They work as a part of a Scrum team using continuous integration and behaviour driven development and adopting DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: • Study requirement specifications and raise clarifications to business analysts and customers. • Able to document processes and share knowledge with team members • Implement test scenarios and test cases based on the requirement specifications. • Write automated test scripts in .net and web technologies • Report results of automated and manual tests. • Solve issues in automated test scripts. • Report issues and anomalies in the system in the issue tracking system. • Communicate any unforeseen issues that’s affecting own work to leads on time. • Review QA project artefacts including Test scenarios, Test Scripts, Defect reports and Status reports. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering or related field • Minimum of 5-year hands on experience in Software development process, preferably in testing multi-tiered applications. • Minimum of 2-year experience with automated testing frameworks. • Minimum of 3-year experience in testing backend applications, front end web application and windows desktop applications • Experience in creating test plans • Build, maintain and update automated test scripts based on the test cases. • Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch using the following: • .NET C# with Selenium WebDriver for UI • Cucumber • Docker • Demonstrate a clear understanding of standard software QA processes and methodologies. • Ability to grasp technical and domain knowledge quickly is essential. • High attention to details and strong interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure. • Experience in testing applications deployed in cloud (AWS or Azure) • Proficient in using Jira/Confluence • Practices Agile principles Nice to have • Experience in North American Wealth Management domain. • Realtime system experience • Integration testing with upstream/downstream systems Benefits: LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
