Key Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Dashboards: Utilize Power BI to design, develop data models, and maintain dashboards and reports that effectively communicate quality and risk management insights to stakeholders.
Data Analysis, exploration, and delivery: Conduct thorough data analyses to answer business queries, uncover trends, and support decision-making across quality assurance and risk management functions.
Collaborate on Business Requirements: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design quality and risk experiments, translate them into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
Support Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytical skills to identify and interpret patterns in data, helping to inform quality improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
Enhance Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality through effective data validation and regular audits, supporting reliable reporting and analysis.
Optimize Data Visualizations: Create intuitive and impactful data visualizations in Power BI that cater to different levels of technical and non-technical audiences within the organization.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization, recommending and implementing improvements to streamline data workflows and reporting capabilities.
User Training and Support: Train and support end-users in Power BI functionalities, helping them understand and interact with dashboards to make data-informed decisions.
Assist with Project Management: Contribute to project planning and delivery, ensuring data-related milestones align with project goals and timelines.
Stay Updated on BI Trends: Maintain awareness of advancements in data analytics, visualization, and Power BI best practices to continuously improve the quality and impact of analyses.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degreeComputer Science, Business Analytics or other technical discipline in a or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Job Related Experience
Technical skills and experience in data analytics are required to perform required analysis in support of the quality and risk activities.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data. This includes knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, & SQL.
Skills in data visualization tools, preferably Power BI or Tableau or Qlik.
Technical problem-solving skills are required as this is a specialized role there is no inherit support.
This role will interact across several departments and divisions.
This role will primarily work as team member with reporting to next level management.
This is a global role that will interact with a variety of cultures across GSK global footprint.
Languages/tools expected: Python, R, Apache Spark, Power BI, Spotfire
