Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures and protocols for all stages of the production process.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control systems and processes, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Lead and manage the quality control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality specifications.
- Collaborate with the R&D, production, and procurement teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously improve quality control practices.
- Report on quality control metrics, trends, and issues to senior management, providing recommendations for improvement.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are seeking an experienced professional with extensive expertise in:
- Mustard seed and soyabean seed quality check.
- Solvent plants doc check.
- Experience in testing and quality control or quality assurance of raw materials and finished goods in refineries (edible oils industry).
- In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficient in evaluating packaging materials for final product packaging.
- Know all laws of FSSAI etc. for packing.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
