In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Quality Specialist shall represent Food Safety & Quality during the execution of projects, including new projects and capacity improvements, at the site and drive project-related actions such as qualifications, validations, etc., to ensure that quality objectives are met.
• Quality specialist shall identify and drive continual improvement projects on the food safety management system within own function, cross functions, and across sites.
• The Quality Specialist shall contribute towards managing operations at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
Potentially relevant experience:
- Hold a university degree or postgraduate qualification in Life Sciences, Food Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry.
Have 10-12 years of relevant work experience in the food, beverage, biotechnology, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry.
Hands-on experience in developing Food Safety Management Systems.
Proven experience in quality management, preferably in the food industry.
Strong understanding of food safety management systems and industry regulations
Additional qualifications as added advantage - Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, Holding relevant Food safety & quality certificates, CMO management Willingness to travel or relocate.
Self-motivated and strategic thinker.
Demonstrates integrity and honesty.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
