We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Quality Assurance Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Strategy: contribute to and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyse QA metrics to identify trends, assess quality levels, and drive continuous improvement.
- Automation: Promote and implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Defect Management: Establish and manage a robust defect tracking and management process to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor more junior staff members providing guidance, training, and support. Control concurrent projects and resources that vary in scale and complexity to meet changing objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate QA status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, project managers, developers, and executives.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize QA processes to enhance quality and productivity.
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers both internal and external to the Group.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, circulars etc) and external regulatory requirements including the management of operational risk and adherence to the HSBC’s standards.
