Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) program is in place to ensure final book files will print per our technical requirements. The Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) is responsible for improving the quality, timeliness, and professionalism of daily tasks and performance of the Quality Assurance team. The position will be responsible for training and coaching associates, as well as tracking and analyzing data. The QAL will report trends to multiple cross-functional groups and work to improve documents, processes, and training.
Primary Objectives
- Implement associate coaching and identify holes in training based on trends
- Effectively answer questions for Quality Assurance Specialists
- Work autonomously to meet targets and timelines
- Meet and drivers productivity targets
- Analyze metrics, identify performance trends, and report data to management
- Track and manage individual performance and suggest opportunities for professional growth
- Foster effective relationships with both Quality Assurance Associates and Quality Assurance Specialists in a team environment
- Maintain schedule adherence for the team
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience in handling operations teams and establishing new processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems, with intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience back office operations, escalation management and troubleshooting environments
- Knowledge in Basic SQL or Python
