Key job responsibilities
As a QAE on our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering seamless experiences to millions of Alexa users worldwide. You'll be working on a diverse range of challenges, from testing sophisticated search and ranking algorithms to verifying the performance of our distributed backend systems. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in refining our integration of LLM technology, helping to make Alexa's voice interactions more natural and intuitive than ever before.
A day in the life
Your responsibilities will span the entire quality assurance lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and implement both manual and automated testing strategies. Your work will directly impact the quality of Alexa's contact management capabilities, ensuring that users can effortlessly manage their connections in this voice-first world.

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
