Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing and effective collaboration with development teams. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in testing methodologies, and the ability to identify and document software defects · Test Planning and Execution: o Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design specifications. o Execute manual and automated test cases for various applications and platforms. o Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing to ensure software quality. · Defect Identification and Reporting: o Identify, document, and track defects through the defect management lifecycle. o Collaborate with developers and product managers to diagnose issues and ensure timely resolution. · Automation and Tools: o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). o Develop and execute automated test scenarios to improve efficiency and coverage of the test suite.
· Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to understand requirements and provide feedback. o Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure alignment with project goals. · Documentation and Reporting: o Create detailed test reports, including defect logs, test results, and status updates. o Provide clear and concise documentation of test cases, test procedures, and defect reports. · Process Improvement: o Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. o Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance QA practices.
Core/Must have skills
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies. Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail). Experience with automated testing and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good to
have skills Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience in testing blockchain and API applications.
