Your New Role:
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications and systems in Participations / Residuals and Music Royalties portfolio by identifying and reporting defects and collaborating with development & business teams to resolve issues. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, develop and execute test cases and plans to ensure the software meets quality standards.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Plan
Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software meets quality standards
Identify and prioritize testing needs and requirements
Maintain test data and environments
Participate in team meetings and stand ups
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their testing needs and requirements
Test
Execute test scenarios and test cases
Identify and report defects and issues
Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Develop and execute automated tests using tools like UiPath, Selenium
Participate in documentation reviews and provide feedback
Participate in Demos & walkthroughs with business stakeholders
Report
Report defects and issues to development teams and stakeholders
Provide detailed reports on testing results and defects found
Participate in incident management and problem resolution
Participate in business stakeholder meetings and provide testing insights and recommendations
Learning & Improvement
Stay up to date with latest testing tools & technologies
Attend in-person/online-trainings/conferences to improve skills
Miscellaneous
Train and mentor junior testers and quality assurance analysts
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and workshops
Create and update documentation for testing processes and procedures
Qualifications & Experiences:
3-4 years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business development or streaming services industry experience a plus)
2-3 years of hands-on implementation or operational experience with Participations, Residuals and/or Music Royalty payments
3-5 years of Software testing & quality assurance experience
2-3 years of experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium and UiPath
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Strong understanding of Software development life cycles and testing methodologies
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects and issues
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Work collaboratively w/small teams
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
