Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Software Development team. The candidate should be a highly motivated individual who thrives on the challenges of working in new environments with the latest technologies. Successful candidates should have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and complete test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other collaborators to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications

Required


  • BS / BA degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Ability to detail and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., QTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical mind and proficiency in problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
  • Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JMeter).
  • Knowledge of software development.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
