What You Will Do:


  • The AML Triage team performs AML alert reviews and seeks to mitigate risks associated to financial crimes and potentially suspicious activity. They apply research and analytic techniques to digest complex information sets to make logical and adequately supported determinations regarding unusual and potentially suspicious activity. The transaction monitoring process includes the following steps: -


  • Conducting an end-to-end and meticulous review of potential illegal or suspicious activity.


  • Completing a time-sensitive and meticulous analysis of each instance of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity and/or suspicious financial activity across multiple jurisdictions and countries.


  • Assessment of customer profiles and client data to identify whether activity is consistent with typical purchasing/payment activity, including Acceptable Use Policy adherence and Know Your Customer efforts; and


  • Documenting findings in narrative style format, in the manual and automated process case management system and prepare updates to Project Managers / Team Leads as appropriate.


  • As the Quality Analyst you will be Responsible for assessing the quality of the alerts reviewed by the AML Triage Analyst and ensure that they are reviewed in accordance with the guidelines, policies, and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following-


  • Perform Quality checks of the alerts reviewed by the Triage Transaction Monitoring Analyst.


  • Provide constructive feedback to the Analysts based on the Quality scores.


  • Counsel and train the analysts whenever necessary to ensure improvement in the analysts Quality of alerts review.


  • Maintain log of Feedback / Quality Scores / Process updates.


  • Prepares and analyzes quality reports and shares findings with the Management group.


What you will need:


  • Minimum 6+ years of experience working in an AML-Transaction Monitoring process,


    • Out of which at least 1+ year experience as a Quality Analyst.


    • Should have experience in Quality analysis activities.


  • Experience in conducting Quality Check on transaction monitoring alerts reviewed by the Transaction monitoring Analysts.


  • Demonstrated investigation and analytical skills.


  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.


  • Highly organized and punctual.


  • Highly focused on quality


  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PPT)

  • Advanced computer skills (Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.)


  • Advanced English Comprehension skills and English communication skills - written and verbal.


    • Proficient in business email communication.
