Overview Jop Purpose: This role is a critical role being added to the India BU Foods Category leadership team to help us develop new global capabilities to expand beyond core snacking into new territories to enable our strategic transformation. The Category Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our new category strategy, from the initial conceptualization phase to a commercially viable product launch. This includes identifying white space opportunities in the market, aligning our product offerings with the evolving needs and preferences of the Indian consumer, and ensuring that our new products resonate with and capture the target market effectively. Responsibilities Accountabilities: Lead the charge in expanding our portfolio beyond core snacking & lead development and nurturing of Quaker & White Spaces portfolio on business needs, role of brand in region and BUs Leading the P&L for the portfolio. Building the A&M budget and execution for the portfolio Develop and share-out SOWs and briefs Ensure successful execution of Quaker & innovation projects in region and local Commercial Units. Strong understanding of different channels such as OT/eCom for different set of unlocks & strategic channel play Packaging formats that work for the products being considered In addition to the above, the role will encompass all key responsibilities of a category lead, overseeing the full spectrum of tasks required to successfully manage and grow the portfolio. Qualifications Key Skills/ Experience Required: Good understanding of end-to-end business value chain, from ideation to execution 14+ years with relevant Marketing experience, leading brands, esp. in Foods industry Exceptional team leader with strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to influence at all levels and comfortable managing conflict MBA- Sales & Marketing
