The Role


As a QC Manager with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

  • Ensure that the Project Quality Requirements, Project Specification, Site Requirements, JESA Quality Policies, Plans, Procedures, Instructions are implemented and executed accordingly during Construction Activities.
  • Implement and manage the Construction Site phase of the Quality Control Program.
  • Establish, together with Head of QC Department, and manage a construction site structure organization, which may include subcontracted personnel or quality staff of the subcontractor's. Establish the Roles & Responsibilities of these personnel.
  • Promote and facilitate the interfaces communication.
  • Review JESA existing plans, procedures, instructions and implement in the project. Work with Construction personnel, Field QC personnel in establish and implementation of Construction Project Procedures.
  • Participate as member of the Construction Management Team.
  • Coordinate on a daily basis, quality control plans, inspections, progress and problems with Construction Manager & Head of QC Department.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Job Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of quality control, safe ways of working, resource requirement, sequence of activities, and supervision of construction activities for the respective discipline. Aware of the requirements of various applicable standards (Indian Standards, ASME etc.) for the respective discipline. Knowledge of statutory requirements, general contract requirements and interpretation of contract clauses
  • Industry Specific Experience: Graduate Engineers with minimum 15 years of experience with minimum 3 years of experience of working as Quality Manager in Fertilizer, Oil & Gas Sector and Chemicals. Should have experience with working in a consultant company.
  • Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
  • NDT Level III, CSWIP 3.1. Candidate should mention their certification ID in the resume
  • HSE Capability: Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities for the respective discipline
  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office
  • People Skills: Leadership skills, Team Player
  • Other: Adaptable, open towards learning and development, person of integrity
