About Eurofins Drug Discovery and Bio analytics Services

Eurofins Pharma Discovery and Bio analytics Services was established, as a new business line, within Eurofins, in March 2013, as a result of the merger of several industry leaders. TITLE: QA Automation Test Engineer
Experience : 3 - 5 years of experience in Automation Testing

REPORTING TO: QA Manager

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Translate test cases to automation scripts using C# for GUI / API tests.
• Adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
• Review code and fix any issues identified in scheduled automation runs.
• Perform root cause analysis of script failures.
• Submit and track automation-identified defects.
• Identify automatable test cases in the existing test suite and assist in planning for automation.
• Understand the requirements and transform them into Automation test cases.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders according to schedule, ensuring thorough documentation of testing activities to support lifecycle system engineering activities.
• Test data setup & Test execution of the automated test cases.
• Provide effective communication to QA Manager/Lead regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance against the plan.
• Contribute to delivery in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid knowledge in automation testing.
• Good experience in C#.
• Experience in testing API/web services.
• Good knowledge in Database & SQL; ability to create and mine data using SQL queries.
• Experience in automation tools: Selenium, Coded UI, Ranorex, etc.
• Exposure to creating Automation frameworks like Modular, BDD, POM, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in TFS/MTM, ADO.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an agile environment.
• Experience in Test data setup across multiple modules and ability to understand data dependencies.
• Good knowledge of Defect Management processes.
• Knowledge in testing web services is desirable.

BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
