Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, ensuring all functional, integration, regression, and performance testing is covered.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Automation Testing: Design, develop, and oversee automation testing efforts using UFT, ensuring efficient and scalable test automation solutions.
- Database Testing: Lead database testing initiatives, ensuring thorough validation of data integrity, complex queries, and stored procedures in collaboration with the development team.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance QA processes, ensuring that best practices and industry standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Defect Management: Oversee defect tracking, resolution, and reporting, ensuring defects are logged, prioritized, and resolved promptly.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software products.
- Test Execution & Review: Manage both manual and automated test execution efforts, ensuring all tests are properly executed, documented, and that results are analyzed and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Engage in release planning meetings, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups to ensure QA alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks related to quality and propose mitigation strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports on test progress, defect trends, and overall product quality for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Mentorship & Training: Develop the QA team's skills by providing continuous mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing on best practices and emerging trends in testing.
