Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, specifications, and QMS requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare, revise, and control the company's QA manual and quality documentation.
- Conduct internal and external audits and ensure contractor quality requirements are specified and verified.
- Coordinate quality-related correspondence and attend client quality management meetings.
- Prepare and manage project quality documentation prior to project commencement.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend improvements.
- Review purchase orders and procurement documents to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Manage vendor inspections and coordinate quality approvals when necessary.
- Ensure site activities and materials comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in and coordinate site inspections, audits, and QC activities through site inspectors.
- Resolve non-conformance issues and oversee remedial actions.
- Compile and complete quality control documentation for as-built handover.
- Monitor and implement the approved site QC plan, including technical submittals and inspections.
- Organize and chair QA/QC meetings with subcontractor personnel.
- Develop inspection and testing programs while ensuring safety compliance on-site.
- Maintain up-to-date status of all site quality control documentation.
