Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join our team at a cutting-edge marine robotics company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality assurance and quality control across both the electronics and mechanical departments, contributing to the development and maintenance of high-performance marine robotics systems.


Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC):
  1. Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for electronics and mechanical components.


  2. Collaborate with design and production teams to establish testing criteria and standards.


  3. Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards.


  4. Analyze defect trends and provide input for continuous improvement.


  5. Participate in the development of automated testing systems for ROV s.


  6. Perform inspections and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and finished products.


  7. Use advanced tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (for electronics), and calipers, gauges (for mechanical) for quality assessment.


  8. Identify non-conformances, prepare detailed reports, and initiate corrective actions.


  9. Maintain detailed records of inspections and test data for traceability.


  10. Ensure the final product aligns with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.


Skills Required:


Knowledge of :


  • QA/QC function set-up 


  • ISO/QMS process set-up


  • Quality Audit


  • Quality control and related activities in EMS or equivalent company


Experience:


5 to 7 years out of which 2 to 3 years experience as QA/QC engineer role


Qualification:


BE/BTech in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical


Added Advantage:


  • Six Sigma certification 


  • ISO 


  • Process excellence certification


  • Product/Project management certification
