Your Role and Responsibilities
As an engineering manager, you are a seasoned leader with a strong technical background and a passion for driving teams towards excellence. With extensive experience in project management, technical oversight, and team leadership. You excel in guiding engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of high-performing Platform Engineers in Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with cross-functional quality assurance teams to align platform engineering strategies with business objectives and incorporate quality assurance feedback into platform development.
• Drive innovation and implementation of advanced cloud technologies, quality assurance of Cloud platforms and services,
• Establish and enforce best practices for software architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and API-first strategies.
• Strategize on containerization and orchestration, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
• Ensure platform infrastructure is robust, secure, and meets industry standards.
• Adopt and drive with Agile way of working

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Cloud Native, K8s and Open-Source development
• Skilled in test automation, debugging, and analytical skills
• Hands-on with programming languages such as Go, Python
• Good understanding of Cloud, development and deployment methodologies in cloud
• Agile program management – Ability to drive programs in agile methodologies, hands on knowledge of driving scrum, Kanban or equivalent, create Jira Projects, and managing Github repositories
• Experience in managing complex programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• IBM Cloud especially VPC , CI/CD , Quality and automation
• Experience of working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions including Cloud, Data and AI
• People management Skills
