Job Description

To support our extraordinary team who ensures the applications were moved to production with high quality and standard and also to contribute to the growth of our QA department, we’re looking to add a QA Lead in Chennai location.
 

Reporting to Manager and the role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Work with Cross-Functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the software development life cycle.
• Review and analyze project/application specification
• Collaborate with Developers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Help the team to complete their tasks on time.
• Prepare and Execute test cases (manual &/or automated) and analyze test results.
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression)
• Identify and Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Design and develop automation scripts if required.
• Apply Quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Provide support and documentation.
• Lead, mentor and motivate team members in the execution of day-to-day tasks and in the development of their QA skills and abilities
• Responsible for identifying the opportunities on expanding the QA scope and improving the efficiency in all the possible ways.

 
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Good experience in Software testing life cycle and its phases.
• Expert level in different Software testing methodologies and it's framework.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in Manual/Automated Software testing process.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or similar role.
• Hands-on and Implementation experience in any of the Automated test tools like Selenium, Katalon etc. is preferred.
• Basic Knowledge in .Net, Java, DevOps tools, SQL, Jenkins etc.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in project management and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Superior time and project management skills.
• Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and to lead the team without always being directed.

Here are a few of our Desired experiences:

• ISTQB Certified Tester/Manager is preferred.
• Certification on any Automation tool is preferred.
