The current requirement is for a quality engineer who has skills in Linux deployment, configuration, and automation. for the SAP Business Intelligence team within the PCP organization. We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer proficient in deploying and testing enterprise-level applications on Linux and Windows platforms. The job expectation includes deploying, configuring, developing, and testing automated regression. In addition to being responsible for the quality of the application, the individual in this role will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues, developing, and implementing new test cases/regression, and providing ongoing support for existing regression.
What you’ll do:
· This position requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The individual must also be a quick learner and able to work independently.
· Develop deep product knowledge at functional and technical levels to be able to test and maintain ongoing product releases.
· Collaborate with the Development team and other Quality Specialists to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code meets quality and performance standards.
· Test new features and enhancements, following best quality practices.
· Participate in STS reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and continuously improve development processes and practices within the team
· Experience with one or more automation Testing Tools and Libraries such as Selenium, TOSCA, START would be an advantage
What You Bring
Education & Skill Requirements
· University degree or equivalent education background
· Hands-on experience in Linux with 3 to 6 years’ experience.
· Hands-on experience with any SQL database
· Jenkins and JIRA/X-Ray integration preferred
· Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Must have excellent communication and articulation skills
