The Role: QAEngineer(Automation)



The Team:



  The selected candidate will be part of the S&P Global Technology’s Environmental Solutions Team. The QAAengineering teamis responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of our products and scalable solutions by working directly with product development team. Our team culture is oriented towards equality in the realm of QAA Engineer irrespective of hierarchy promoting innovation. The Impact:



  You will work with our global team of Environmental Solutions and will primarily focus on the quality of our highly available applications by means ofautomated and manual testing and building solutions to test applications. Your challenge will be reducing the “time to market” for products without compromising quality, by using automation and innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and optimize manual and automated testing strategies and frameworks
  • Lead test execution, analyze outcomes, report defects, and generate comprehensive test execution reports
  • Mentor team members in automating the testing of APIs and GUIs
  • Review and enhance requirements, specifications, and project documentation to ensure product quality
  • Document and oversee the execution of test cases, both manual and automated
  • Collaborate effectively in team-oriented environments while also demonstrating independent leadership
  • Lead the manual and automation QA team (3-5 members)


What We’re Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • QA leader ship experience leading teams of at least 3 people
  • 8+ years of QA/testing experience with a strong focus on hands-on automation
  • Extensive knowledge of BDD and Test Automation Tools/Frameworks, preferably Selenium
  • Proficient in manual testing methodologies
  • Proven expertise in API testing using tools such as Advanced REST Client, SOAP UI, or PostMan
  • Strong Java programming skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with various scripting tools
  • Strong database knowledge with the capability to write complex SQL queries
  • Familiarity with Waterfall & Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint) and tools (JIRA, ADO)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
