Do you want to make a real impact by ensuring digital content is accessible to everyone? At
Arcadis, we're looking for a QA Accessibility Tester to join our team and help us ensure that our
web and mobile content is inclusive and accessible for all users. This is a unique opportunity to
enhance the digital experience for millions of people.



As a QA Accessibility Tester, you will:
• Lead accessibility audits for both web and mobile platforms to ensure our digital content
meets and exceeds accessibility standards.
• Identify accessibility issues and collaborate closely with developers and UI/UX designers to
recommend effective fixes that enhance usability.
• Establish and refine testing processes, including the use of checklists, keyboard-only
testing, and assistive technology testing.
• Utilize tools like JAWS, Voiceover, Axe Pro Tool, WAVE, NVDA and Lighthouse to identify
and address accessibility issues.
• Verify the correct implementation of ARIA labels and attributes to improve usability for
screen readers.
• Document and develop detailed test plans and methodologies.
• Provide accessibility conformance report including VPAT and any other international
standard formats.
• Stay ahead of the latest accessibility standards, tools, and technologies.


Qualifications


• Extensive knowledge of manual and automated quality assurance testing.
• Have 2-3 years of experience in accessibility testing, using both manual and automated
tools.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Possess a thorough understanding of WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level AA Standards, as well as
federal and state accessibility laws which includes ADA, AODA, Section 508, European
disability act Etc.
• Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and ARIA is expected.
• Can develop VPAT and provide comprehensive confirmation reports.
• Have knowledge of universal design principles and techniques.
• Nice to have any degree/certification in a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of test automation experience (WebDriver IO, Playwright, Selenium)
• The ability to work independently to plan, document and execute test scenarios
• SQL test script preparation & execution experience
• A passion and enthusiasm for software testing
• An interest and desire for continued learning
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• An understanding of the various types of testing performed in Agile projects – e.g.
Exploratory, Risk-Based, Session-Based and Automation
• The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
