Job Description Position: Senior Associate
Location:Hyderabad -Gachibowli (Orion)
Software Requirements:
- Strong understanding of technology platforms such as Python, Pyspark, and GCP.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Pyspark and Python development.
- At least 2 years of experience with GCP, including tools like Airflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery; capable of configuring data pipelines or willing to learn.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis on databases.
- Ability to independently manage specialized assignments within project deliverables.
- Take ownership of providing solutions and tools that enhance engineering efficiencies.
- Design solutions that embed standard processes, systems, and operational models into the BAU approach for end-to-end execution of data pipelines.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and apply sound business and technical knowledge.
- Communicate openly and effectively across teams and levels.
- Demonstrate advanced oral, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently at a global level.
- Deliver high-quality materials to management under tight deadlines.
- Work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages:Python, Pyspark
- Cloud Technologies:Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Airflow, Dataproc, BigQuery
- Database Management:SQL, database design, and data modeling
- Development Methodologies:Agile, SDLC
- Tools:Version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in software development with a focus on relevant technologies.
- Experience with software development methodologies and tools (Python, Pyspark, GCP, Airflow, SQL).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.
- Write, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Provide technical support to team members and resolve technical issues.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
