Role


You will be responsible for cost estimation, Supplier development, sourcing, Negotiation, Planning & execution of orders from Mining Industries. You will be part of Purchase team that takes care of the aftermarket business. By joining this team, you will have a chance to work with different people across the world that follows different standards and involving different cultures.


Your responsibilities


  • Examine and analyze purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.


  • Effective planning and execution of the sales order within budget cost provided by sales and within Customer P.O. delivery date.


  • Issue enquires and ensures timely receipt of offers.


  • Vendor selection and order placement.


  • Effective negotiation, finalization, and cost optimization.


  • Validating vendor offer in line with customer requirement.


  • Ensure the right part delivery from vendor.


  • Expedite and get order acknowledgement from vendors.


  • Effective handling of customer complaints after dispatch, installation etc.


  • Should be capable of building relationship with Sales, Engineering, Expediting and other stake holders.


What you bring


  • Commercial and technical knowledge in offer evaluations.


  • Knowledge in Oracle based ERP system will be an added advantage. 


Education Qualification


Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed university. Preferably Mechanical Engineering.


Experience


0 to 5 years of experience in procurement.
