Position Summary
Need to provide SCM support to the corporate SCM and other regional SCM group. And to ensure all appropriate supplies and equipment are inventoried, received and distributed in accordance with proper and prudent practices. Works under limited supervision. Should be able to work without supervision for complex work.
Duties & Responsibilities
·Ensure internal processes and procedures exist and are followed, for own tasks and responsibility.
·Work with engineering and requestors to make sure demand for material and services is planned and properly define, using OII’s ERP system.
·Review, understand and maintain demand information to meet Operations and the requestor expectation.
·Work with engineering to set up part numbers
·Creation of Requisitions
·Handling of AP related issues (Payment resolution, supplier resolution and past due payments)
·Supplier Registration in ERP.
·Monitor IT Procurement mailbox
·Insurance Claim Verifications.
·Fleet Inventory - actively work to gather fleet inventory (vehicles and material handling equipment)
·Generate MIS (Management information System) reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
·Follow checklist against incoming shipments to a BU on the basis of Invoice.
·Operational tasks regarding Categorization and consolidation.
·Should be well organized, consistent and able to communicate effectively in cross functional teams considering data and records

·This position has/does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
·Bachelors in Science / Commerce / PGDCA/ BCA or B-tech with more than 3 years of SCM/buying experience in heavy industry/OIL & gas sector.
·Practical experience as SCM related task and should be able to mentor entry level SCM people.
Desired
·Expert level knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially of Excel, word and Visio.
·
